I grew up on and under the water. I have been boating since I was a baby and became a certified scuba diver at age 12. I worked for my father as a dive master and boat driver and now I run his company. Now I write on nautical issues and have numerous articles and several books on diving history in print. I also hold a 100 ton USCG Master's License with towing endorsement and am active with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.
